In the words of Honda CEO Takanobu Ito

Several months ago, I was watching a documentary which featured Takanobu Ito, the CEO of Honda. He said something that made me rethink some assumptions I had made about the car industry:

"I hope we end the oil age not because we run out of oil, but because we find something better. [Honda] can't be reactionary. We have to be visionary. We have to seek out the future. When there's no more oil, it's already too late."
